RIDE SAFE KERALA

K. E School in association with Malayala Manorama conducted a road safety awarenesses class on the theme " Ride Safe Kerala" on 7th August 2023.The session was led by Mr B Ashok Kumar, (Motor Vehicle Inspector, RTO, Enforcement, Kottayam, Govt. of Kerala), Mr George Varghese ( Asst. Motor vehicle Inspector, RTO, Govt. of Kerala), Mr Raju C. R ( Asst. Motor vehicle Inspector, RTO, Enforcement, Kottayam, Govt. of Kerala). This program serves as a proactive effort to instil responsible road behaviour in young minds and reduce the incidence of accidents. Through interactive sessions, workshops, and informative presentations, students are introduced to the importance of adhering to traffic rules, wearing helmets, using seat belts, and understanding the significance of pedestrian safety. The motor vehicle inspectors leverage their expertise to engage students in discussions about the dangers of distracted driving and the potential consequences of reckless behaviour on the road. By imparting practical knowledge and real-life examples, "Ride Safe Kerala" equips students with the tools they need to become conscientious and law-abiding road users. This initiative not only contributes to a safer road environment but also nurtures a sense of responsibility and respect for traffic regulations from an early age.
