INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION 2023

The celebration began with a solemn prayer, invoking blessings for the nation and its people. Students, teachers, and staff gathered to pay their respects and reflect on the significance of the day. The Indian national flag was unfurled at our school by Dr. K. M Benny, the principal of St. Joseph’s Training College, Mannanam. In his message, he emphasized the importance of freedom, education, and nation-building. His insights resonated with the audience and highlighted the ongoing commitment to progress.Rev. Dr. James Mullassery CMI, the principal and director of K. E School, delivered a poignant presidential address. His speech underscored the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters and encouraged students to be responsible citizens who contribute positively to society.The school choir rendered a soul-stirring patriotic song, filling the air with melodies that celebrated the nation’s spirit of unity and diversity. The powerful performance echoed the sentiments of national pride and patriotism.A dance performance of the iconic song “Vande Mataram” was presented by the plus one students. The dance beautifully depicted the cultural richness and diverse heritage of India, evoking a strong sense of national pride.As a gesture of sharing joy and unity, sweets were distributed among the students and attendees. The sweet distribution symbolized the sweetness of freedom and the sense of togetherness that Independence Day brings.
