CHINGA VASANTHAM 2023

The vibrant and joyous festival of Onam “ Chinga Vasantham 2023” was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervor at K. E School Mannanam on the 25^th of August, 2023. The event was marked by various cultural performances, speeches, and activities that captured the essence of this cherished Kerala festival.The Onam celebration commenced with an inaugural ceremony graced by the presence of Sri Adarsh Chittar, a renowned singer and actor famous for his appearances on Flowers TV. He captivated the audience with a folk song, setting a festive tone for the day’s festivities.The common meeting started in the afternoon with a soulful prayer performed by the school choir. Kumari Irin Anil Jacob delivered the welcome speech, extending warm greetings to all attendees. The Presidential Address was given by Dr. James Mullassery CMI, the director and principal of the school.The arrival of Maveli, the legendary king, marked the official inauguration of the celebrations. Sri Suneesh Varanad, a respected journalist and scriptwriter, delivered the Onam message, emphasizing the significance of the festival in our culture. Master Ram Krishna D mesmerized the audience with his violin performance.The festivities continued with a heartwarming session where Mrs. Shiny Kurian shared fond Onam memories. Rev. Fr. Shyju Venkida CMI, the principal and financial administrator, shared insightful Onam thoughts that resonated with the spirit of the occasion. Master Advait Anish enthralled everyone with an Onam song, and Adv. Jaison Joseph, the PTA president, shared his Onam experiences.The event featured a prize distribution ceremony to honor the winners of various games. Students showcased their talents through an array of Onam songs and a graceful Thiruvathira dance performance. These performances truly brought out the cultural richness of Kerala.Overall, the Onam celebration of K. E School Mannanam was a remarkable blend of cultural heritage, joy, and unity.
