On September 15, the 9 th class (9 A,ICSE )students of K.E School, in association with the school’s Social Service Club, embarked on a meaningful and compassionate visit to St. Joseph’s Hospice for Cancer Patients in Gandhinagar, Kottayam. The purpose of the visit was to extend support to the hospice’s residents and contribute essential items, as well as to provide emotional solace through interactions and entertainment. The visit was accompanied by the school’s Principal and Financial Administrator, Rev. Fr. Shyju Venkida CMI. The visit exemplified the school’s commitment to community engagement and social responsibility. It showcased the importance of nurturing a sense of social consciousness and service among students. The interaction and entertainment provided by the students served to uplift the emotional well- being of the hospice’s residents. These gestures of kindness can make a significant difference in the lives of those undergoing cancer treatment. Such initiatives reflect the values and ethos of K.E School and contribute positively to the betterment of society.
