REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION

KEEMS celebrated Republic Day on 26^th January 2024. The entire KEEMS community joined in unity, expressing gratitude for the democratic values that bind the nation together. Following  prayer, the welcome address not only acknowledged esteemed guests but also emphasized Republic Day’s significance in fostering unity and patriotism among students and staff. The event’s highlight featured the Presidential Address and flag hoisting by Rev. Dr. James Mullassery CMI, KEEMS Director and Principal, resonating with the spirit of the occasion by emphasizing the importance of upholding constitutional principles. The unfurling of the national flag symbolized a collective commitment to justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity. Adding to the grandeur, Rev. Fr. Sebastian Attichira CMI, Vicar, and Provincial of St. Joseph Province, Trivandrum, honored the event as Chief Guest, sharing insights into the vital role of educational institutions in nurturing responsible citizens. The festivities embraced cultural dynamism as students presented a captivating group performance, reflecting the rich diversity of the nation. In conclusion, KEEMS’ Republic Day observance beautifully intertwined tradition, patriotism, and cultural vibrancy, echoing the principles of the Republic and serving as a memorable testament to unity in diversity.
