KEEMS RE-OPENING DAY CELEBRATION 2024

On June 3rd, 2024, KEEMS commenced the new academic year with a range of events to celebrate the occasion. The day began with a prayer, followed by a tribute to St. Chavara through a prayer dance and the recitation of Chavarul.  Kum. Jiyan Mariya Antony delivered the welcome speech, and Rev. Fr. Shyju Xavier CMI, the superior of KE residence, gave the presidential address. Mrs. Rosamma Sony, a member of the district panchayat, Kottayam, lit the lamp and addressed the gathering as the chief guest. She was then presented with a memento by the principal. Felicitations were given by Mr. Shaji Joseph, a member of Athirampuzha grama panchayat, and Adv. Jaison Joseph, the PTA president. Rev. Dr. James Mullassery CMI, the principal and director of the school, also addressed the gathering. The program included performances in Western music, keyboard, and semi-classical dance by the students. New faculty members were introduced by the principal, who presented them with rose flowers. The vote of thanks was given by Master Thomas Aby, the school head boy. The event concluded with the lighting of the "Njanajyothi" by class representatives and teachers, receiving blessings from the principal, followed by a holy mass.
