READING DAY CELEBRATION 2024

The Reading Day celebration at Kuriakose Elias English Medium School was held on 19th June 2024.It was a memorable event that highlighted the importance of reading and literature. The program began with a  prayer by the school choir, followed by a warm welcome speech delivered by Mrs. Jini Joseph ( Malayalam faculty). The principal of our school Rev. Dr. James Mullassery CMI, provided an insightful presidential address."His insightful words emphasized the value of cultivating a love for books and literature in the young minds" . The event was officially inaugurated by the renowned literary writer, Mr. K. B. Prasannakumar. His inspiring speech  encouraged the students to embrace reading as a lifelong passion. Rev. Fr. Shyju Xavier CMI, the prefect of K. E residents, and Mr. Roy Michael, the vice-principal of the Higher Secondary section felicitated the event by praising the school's efforts in promoting literature and reading.The celebration included a beautiful poem recitation,  Reading Day pledge,Reading Day message and an enchanting Kathakali Song. The inauguration of 'Madhura Malayalam,' a Mathrubhoomi magazine, was a key highlight. Additionally, students depicted Idassery's "Poothappaattu," showcasing their artistic talents. The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Mrs. Rosamma Mathew of the Malayalam section, ensuring that every participant and organizer was appreciated for their contributions.
