ONAM CELEBRATION LP SECTION

KEEMS LP section hosted a resplendent Onam celebration on September 12, 2024, showcasing the vibrant cultural tapestry of Kerala. The event was a magnificent blend of tradition, music, and merriment. The festivities commenced with a soulful prayer by the school choir. Kum. Hanna Rose's warm welcome speech ushered in the arrival of Maveli, the mythical king, amidst great fanfare. Dr. Girija Kumari A, retired professor of BCM College, Kottayam, illuminated the lamp, sharing an inspiring Onam message that resonated deeply with the audience. Her melodic musical performance left the gathering spellbound. Rev. Dr. James Mullassery CMI, the esteemed Principal, delivered the presidential address, offering profound insights into the significance of Onam. Kum. Diya Mariyam's captivating solo and the students' traditional Onam songs enthralled the audience. The elegant Thiruvathira, Koyithu dance and prize distribution for Onam games added to the celebratory atmosphere. Master Karthik Mahdhev's vote of thanks expressed gratitude to the dignitaries, teachers, and students. Overall The Onam celebration at Kuriakose Elias School was a triumphant fusion of culture, community, and joy.
