KEEMS ONAM CELEBRATION 2024

The vibrant and joyous festival of Onam " Chinga Vasantham 2024" was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervor at K. E School Mannanam on the 12th of September , 2024. The event was marked by various cultural performances, speeches, and activities that captured the essence of this cherished Kerala festival. The Onam celebration commenced  with an inaugural ceremony graced by the presence of Sri Ashvanth Anilkumar , a  fame for his appearances on Flowers TV. The common meeting started in the afternoon with a  prayer by the school choir. Kumari Kalyani Rajesh delivered the welcome speech, extending warm greetings to all participants. The Presidential Address was given by Dr. James Mullassery CMI, the director and principal of the school. The arrival of Maveli, the legendary king, marked the official inauguration of the celebrations. Rev. Fr. Shyju Xavier CMI, the prefect of KE residence, delivered the Onam message, emphasizing the significance of the festival in our culture. Kumari. Irin Rose Shyjan mesmerized the audience with a melodious song. Sri. Roy Michael, the vice- principal , shared insightful Onam thoughts that resonated with the spirit of the occasion.  A fund of ?5000 each were given to providence home,Gandhinagar and Kerala Federation of the blind as a part of charity named " Sneha Nidhi". After that, Adv. Jaison Joseph, the PTA president, shared his Onam experiences with the students . The event featured a prize distribution ceremony to honor the winners of various games. Students showcased their talents through an array of Onam songs named " Swaralaya"and a graceful Thiruvathira dance performance. These performances truly brought out the cultural richness of Kerala. Overall, the Onam celebration of K. E School Mannanam was a remarkable blend of cultural heritage, joy, and unity. It successfully captured the essence of Onam and left an indelible mark on all who participated.
