CHILDREN'S DAY AND WORLD DIABETES DAY

Kuriakose Elias English Medium School, Mannanam, celebrated Children's Day and World Diabetes Day on November 14, 2024. The event began with a prayer song by the school choir, followed by Master Kashinath P. Umesh's welcome speech. Rev. Dr. James Mullassery CMI, the Principal and Director, delivered the Presidential Address, emphasizing the values of Children's Day and the importance of diabetes awareness. Dr. Sheena Qusan Andrews, Medical Director of Marian Eye Care, inaugurated the event with a thought-provoking address and lighting of the lamp. Master Dhyan Renju Chakyayil delivered a heartfelt message as "Chachaji," while Kum. Nainika Sarah spoke on World Diabetes Day's significance. The event included prize distribution, memento presentation, and cultural performances showcasing students' talents. Master Nivedh George expressed gratitude in his vote of thanks, and the school anthem concluded the program, uniting students and school management in pride and togetherness. This combined celebration successfully merged the joy of Children's Day with World Diabetes Day awareness, leaving a lasting impact.
