The 34th Annual Day Celebrations of KEEMS (Kuriakose Elias English Medium School), Mannanam, titled "NIRACHARTH 2K25: The Hues and Shades of Life," took place on Saturday, 18th January 2025, at St. Chavara Hall, KEEMS Mannanam. The event celebrated the achievements and talents of the school community through an array of cultural performances, speeches, and recognitions. The celebrations saw the active participation of students, staff, parents, and dignitaries who came together to make the event memorable. The day began with cultural programs that showcased the creativity and energy of the students. At 10:00 AM, the LP and Upper UP sections captivated the audience with their performances. This was followed by the Kindergarten section’s cultural programs at 1:30 PM, which brought cheer and joy to everyone present. These morning events were a prelude to the grand public gathering scheduled for the evening. The formal public gathering commenced at 5:00 PM, starting with a Prayer Song by the School Choir. The welcome speech was delivered by Shri. Shaji George, Vice Principal of KEEMS, who extended a warm greeting to everyone . The gathering paid a tribute to St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara, the founder of the institution, with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by dignitaries including Rev. Dr. James Mullassery CMI (Principal & Director), Rev. Fr. Antony Elamthottam CMI (Provincial, CMI St. Joseph’s Province, Thiruvananthapuram), Rev. Fr. Kurian Chalangady CMI (Prior, St. Joseph’s Monastery, Mannanam), Rev. Fr. Shyju Xavier CMI (Prefect, KE Residence), and Rev. Fr. Varghese Plamparampil (Vicar, Twelve Apostles’ Church, Mannanam). The Introductory Address was delivered by Rev. Dr. James Mullassery CMI, Principal & Director, highlighting the school’s progress and vision. The Presidential Address was presented by Rev. Fr. Antony Elamthottam CMI, who commended the school’s commitment to education and its values. A Benedictory Message was shared by Rev. Fr. Kurian Chalangady CMI, who emphasized the importance of holistic development in education. The event reached a highlight with the address by the Chief Guest, Shri. Ajoy Chandran, Secretary of the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy, who praised the school’s efforts in nurturing young minds. The Celebrity Guest, Shri. Bibin George, a well-known cine artist, delivered an inspiring message to the audience. Adding a touch of artistic brilliance, Master Sarang M performed a mesmerizing solo, which was well-received by the audience. The program also recognized and celebrated excellence in academics and extracurricular activities with the Prize Distribution ceremony. The school magazine was officially released by Shri. Sebastian G. Mathew, Director of Brilliant Study Centre, Pala. A special felicitation ceremony honored dignitaries including Shri. Jose Ambalakulam (President, Athirampuzha Grama Panchayat), Prof. Dr. Rosamma Sony (Member, District Panchayat, Kottayam), Smt. Annamma Mani (Member, Block Panchayat, Ettumanoor), and Shri. Shaji Joseph (Member, Athirampuzha Grama Panchayat). Senior staff members who completed 25 years of dedicated service to the school were also honored for their valuable contributions. The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Shri. Roy Michael, Vice Principal, who expressed gratitude to all the dignitaries, parents, and staff who contributed to the success of "NIRACHARTH 2K25." The School Anthem and the National Anthem marked the formal end of the gathering. The evening ended with more cultural programs that delighted the audience and showcased the talents of the students.
