KEEMS GRAND ONAM CELEBRATION 2022

After 2 years of the pandemic, Kuriakose Elias English Medium School celebrated Onam with great pomp on 2nd September 2022. A traditional model of a ‘Chundan Vallam’ in front of the school compound turned out to be spectacular and mesmerizing and took every student into a world of great festivity and fun. Also, the intricately decorated giant pookkalam arranged in the auditorium by the school management captured the hearts of all students. The main highlights of the program were the group-wise competitions like onappattu, Vadam vali, lemon and spoon, Thiruvathirakali, Kerala Sreeman and Sreemathi, etc. The kerala traditional attire of students and made the day more attractive. Rev. Dr. James Mullassery CMI, the school principal, addressed the gathering.  The Cine Artist Sri. Prem Prakash, inaugurated  the function and conveyed greetings and wishes for the festival. The arrival of Mahabali amid the beats of panchavadyam was well-received by the audience. Payasam, banana chips and sharkkaravaratty were distributed as a part of the tradition. Over all, it was a remarkable day for the students and faculties.
