KG SECTION SPORTS DAY

The KG Section of K.E. School Mannanam celebrated its much-awaited Sports Day on the 20th of October, 2023, with a delightful and enthusiastic atmosphere that filled the campus. The event showcased a range of sports activities and highlighted the importance of physical fitness for young learners. The event commenced with a soulful prayer song. Mrs. Suman Anil, the Head of the KG Section, warmly welcomed the gathering. Assistant Surgeon at Taluk Hospital, Pampady, Dr. Georgina Sebastian, graced the occasion as the guest of Honour. Her presence added prestige to the event, and she shared valuable insights on the significance of sports and health. The principal and Director of our school, Rev. Dr. James Mullassery CMI, hoisted the flag, symbolizing the official commencement of Sports Day. Master Vedhanth R Nair led the participants in taking an oath, emphasizing the spirit of sportsmanship and fair play.  The Assistant Professor at the Medical College, Kottayam,. Dr. Merlyn Sebastian inaugurated the Sports Day and delivered an inspirational speech. She highlighted the positive impact of sports on the overall development of young children. Mr. Shaji George, the Vice-Principal of the school, extended his best wishes and words of encouragement to the participants and shared the importance of discipline and dedication in sports. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mrs. Anu George, expressing gratitude to all the participants, guests, and staff members who contributed to the success of the event. With the formalities concluded, the young athletes, filled with enthusiasm, began the various sports competitions. The school's lush green grounds were abuzz with the cheers and energetic spirit of the participants. Overall, it was a memorable event that celebrated the spirit of sports and instilled valuable life lessons in the hearts of the future generation.
